Mazel tov to our Middle School students for advancing to the State competition in MATHCOUNTS!
The MATHCOUNTS Competition Series challenges students who are talented and passionate in math. They engage in exciting, "bee-style" contests in which they compete against and alongside other bright, motivated students.
Reuben Mellman (8th grade), Aharon Shields (8th grade), Meir Broder (8th grade) and Judah Guggenheim (8th grade) advanced to the State competition. Judah finished 19th out of all the students who participated in the entire region!
Eight other Berman Middle School students participated in the Potomac chapter competition of MATHCOUNTS: Talya Lebson (7th grade), Saadya Levitt (7th grade), Nossi Shields (7th grade), Baruch Lerman (8th grade), Noam Strauss (8th grade), Noam Roth (8th grade), Penina Deichman (8th grade) and Naomi Rosenbaum (8th grade).
Berman ranks 7th in the Potomac region. The top 10 list of schools and homeschool networks is comprised of:
