Ground Purchase Campaign

$2 million Ground Purchase Campaign - final stage

Campaign total now exceeds $1,991,044!

Fueled by a new gift of $500,000 last month from a family with no direct connection to the school and strong support from parents, grandparents, faculty and staff during the past few weeks the MJBHA Ground Purchase Campaign has now raised more than $1,991.044. This means we need to raise less than $10,000 more to reach our goal!

To date we are proud to report that we have received gifts from 224 donors and we are grateful to the MJBHA parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, staff and friends who have participated in the Ground Purchase Campaign. We invite all who have not yet participated to help us finish the campaign.

The successful completion of this $2 million capital campaign, will secure MJBHA’s ownership of a facility into which we had already invested $9 million. These funds will ensure that we have funds available for future needs of the school’s physical plant and will sustain the safe physical environment our students need to learn and grow.

A gift at any level will help to bring us closer to our goal. Mural dedication opportunities begin at $500, and gifts can be paid over five years. Many of our donors have elected to use automatic monthly credit card withdrawals (e.g. a $500 gift over 50 months is $10 per month).

The stunning 20’ wide by 8’ high mural was created by Bob Hynes, a renowned artist and current staff member of the Helene Berman Seidenfeld Visual Arts Center, and the colorful three-dimensional dedication tiles were created by Seth Wiesel, US Ceramicist. There is room on the wall for many more dedication tiles!
